what the children have to say
Ode to Mom

Grant and his mom Kristine
July 13, 1960 to April 21, 2005
Oh, mom, how you make good lasagna with fresh cut
turkey meat and the thin sliced pasta,
Oh, how always help me with my reading and make me
better at it,
Oh, how you love it when you see me laughing when we go
to the beach,
Oh, how you love to go up to Red Rock and swing off the
branches and swim in the warm water,
Oh, how you walk my dog for at least a mile or maybe more,
Oh, how you do a great job of being a mom.
Oh, how you remind me of a hot fudge sundae,
Oh, how you warm me up,
Oh, how you are so sweet,
Oh, how you cheer me on at my soccer games and run up
and down the sidelines, yelling loudly for me,
You make me feel good,
It's like when I am ready to go on a really scary roller
coaster and when you're there, I'm not scared at all!
To the person I LOVE!
THANK YOU MOM!
Grant
“My Speshel Mom”
Mom you shine like the sun and you glow like the moon.
Mom you fill the empty space in my Heart.
Mom you are as kind as sugar cookies.
Mom you are as sweet as a bird chirping on a warm suning day.
Mom you are as beautiful as an angel.
For you Mom the sun shines and smiles.
Mom your voice is like beautiful music.
Mom I love you more than winning a tetherball game.
Mom for you I would kiss a frog even if it doesn’t turn
into a hamsom prince.
Mom you are as caring as a mother
bird to her new born babys.
Mom I love you more than getting a new animal.

Dear Mom,
Thank you for helping me every time I need you. Thanks for helping me with my homework almost everyday and for feeding me food whenever I’m with you. Thank you for buying me games, for signing me up for sports and stuff I want to do.
Thank you for being a great mom, and not being careless about what
I do like bad parents. Thank you for cheering me up when I am sad or
not feeling good.
Thank you for waiting on me hand and foot while I goof off, or am being slow. Thank you for being caring and for being my Mom.
From Yours Truly,
Dakota, The nicest guy you know
PS
The important thing about my mom is that she smells like a flower,
she looks happy most of the time,
she feels soft and cuddly, she sounds like a nice person, and just
don't forget she IS MY MOM!! Love Dakota
